The School Day

Mercia pupils benefit from a longer working week. We know that more time with pupils enables them to experience a broad curriculum and experience a full range of subjects. Pupils will enjoy a wide range of exciting enrichment activities throughout the week.

The school day runs from 8.20am, when pupils are welcomed into school. Monday-Thursday finish is 5.00pm. Friday finish is 3.45pm.

Compulsory times: Mon-Thurs: 8 hours, 40 mins, Fri: 7 hours, 25 mins. Total for the week = 42 hours, 5 mins per week.
